The Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory boasts the most advanced and efficient electronic suspension system currently available - the latest technological frontier offered by Öhlins and developed closely with Aprilia engineers. The specific technology of the Smart EC 2.0 semi-active suspension system allows simple and even customised calibration of the fork and rear shock with two operating modes: semi-active mode and manual mode, both of which can be selected and adjusted using the buttons on the handlebar.

Compact and unmatched

The Tuono’s beating heart is a 65° V4 engine with unique characteristics. The narrow V architecture has made it possible to make an engine that is extremely compact lengthways which helps to centralise weights and achieve a compact chassis. The changes made in this evolution of the Italian V4 have resulted in an increase in overall reliability and performance, without sacrificing any of the great character and astounding sound that riders love so much.

APRC - Aprilia Performance Ride Control

The RSV4 and Tuono V4 both come with APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control), an electronic control package that draws on World Superbike Championship winning technology. The most comprehensive and advanced solution on the market, it is a dynamic suite of electronic systems containing unique auto-calibration and wheelie control functions consisting of: ATC (Aprilia Traction Control), AWC (Aprilia Wheelie Control), ALC (Aprilia Launch Control) and AQS (Aprilia Quick Shift). Starting with the RSV4 RR and Factory, Tuono V4 1100 RR and Factory, AWC has been recalibrated to deliver maximum performance at level 1, the option with greatest freedom.
